Last week, we took a look at ventilation and the stunning range hoods BEST had on display at KBIS.  No trip to KBIS would be complete without visiting Wood-Mode’s booth.  This blog will mention some of the innovative new products from Wood-Mode that we had the pleasure of checking out at KBIS.   12493874_944364585652381_1194133343889434157_o-2Wood-Mode’s theme this year was Symphony of Style.  The leader in custom cabinetry promoted the similarities between music and the design of cabinets.  After seeing what they had to offer, it was music to our ears!  One of our favorites was Wood-Mode’s new high-gloss mahogany and floating vanity system.  Ribbon mahogany goes modern in a high-gloss finish featuring the unique beauty, strength, and elegance of this newly added species.  The floating cabinet design has a continuous horizontal grain match across the front and size panels.   Another one of our favorites was the sandblasted distressing with stainless steel.  Designed with rift-cut white oak and sandblasted for a weathered aesthetic, this new offering features contemporary, stainless steel inset drawers that create a stunning fusion of heirloom and industrial inspirations.  Lateral sliding doors and interior lighting add to the convenience and accessibility of this item.   Picking only a few items to mention is quite the ordeal but another one we really liked is the one inch thick inset door with leather interior.  The Tiffany Recessed inset door combines premium weathered wood with glass and leather.  The custom bonnet pediment and arch doors exude traditional style while integrated LED lighting adds contemporary features to a hutch which can showcase your fine china.   12508808_943821555706684_5075552638868739930_nWe will leave you with one additional product that we were impressed with, the ribbon mahogany with matching interiors.  This beautiful offering has African sapele ribbon mahogany on the exterior and a matte sheen on the interior.  The drawers, organizers, and shelves are also mahogany.  LED lighting highlights the wood framed glass tile and the sliding doors.   A common theme seen in Wood-Mode’s Symphony of Style collection is a fusion of luxury style (traditional or contemporary) with innovative features.  This gives your home a combination of beauty and functionality with regards to your custom cabinetry.  Next week, our KBIS wrap-up continues with Brookhaven!  If you would like to see all that Wood-Mode has to offer, feel free to stop by our showroom.  Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Houzz to stay up-to-date on all the happenings at K&N Sales!
