A few candy items to try:

Two ingredient strawberry fudge- The easiest candy recipe ever.  Tasty and easy to make? What a combination.

Oreo Truffles-  This recipe has only three ingredients.  If Oreos aren’t your favorite, try the recipe with Nutter Butter or some other cookie variety.

Bacon Peanut Brittle- Consider this treat for the bacon lover on your list. Give it a shot.  Bacon will surprise you.

A homemade craft will go great with the candy you whip up.  Here are a few ideas that you can do on your own or, for a special touch, add the assistance of your family.

A Valentine’s Day Lei- With just a few straws, some yarn and some construction paper, you can create a heart-filled necklace for someone special.  These leis definitely spread the holiday cheer in a unique way.

Stuck on You- This is another simple project that ends with an adorable magnet as a gift for family and friends.  Place magnets on the back of decorated wooden circles.  You can use heart stamps to decorate or break out the markers and go for a customized decoration on each magnet.

Hand Print Hearts- This craft is especially perfect for smaller hands.  You can quickly make a precious heart design using some paint and a child’s hands.  The end product will be treasured for years to come.
