Backyard design is more than an outdoor kitchen in our opinion. Having a garden and separating your space will add a nice touch to your home.   GardensSIP938941.jpg.rendition.largest.ssGardens are a great way to add sophistication and pops of personal style to your backyard. Texas heat can cause some major gardening uh-ohs if plants, flowers, herbs, and vegetables are not properly cared for. BHG has a list of plants able to power through the hottest of hot. Our personal favorites include the Hibiscus and ‘Belinda’s Dream’ Rose. Each flower is gorgeous, but the rose is well-known for being easy to care for.   Separation    Dividing your space can be a tricky feat. It’s hard to figure out what separation will work best, so we have some advice on the easiest way to divide up your space:
  • Instead of having a large seating/dining area for guests, break it up. Divide your seating areas to three or four seats around various parts of your yard. It will help with mingling during a party by ensuring no one place becomes too congested.
  •
  • Sticking with our gardening theme, divide up space with tall shrubs and plants. It will add beautiful color and foliage to your space but provide the necessary separation.
As always, our designers are here to help you. At K&N Sales we can help you design an outdoor space that surpasses your expectations. And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Houzz!
