Hold our hand as we take you on a ride.  Imagine that you have decided to take the big step of remodeling your kitchen.  You have some ideas on how you want your kitchen to look, your budget, and the timeframe that would be ideal.  However, once you start putting in the work, you realize how stressful this process is really becoming.  Balancing this project with the rest of your life is becoming increasingly difficult.  Translating your ideas to reality is tougher than expected.  You are becoming stressed out as you feel like you are in this alone.  Instead of creating a monster, sales professionals and kitchen designers can be your helping hand along this journey.   You quickly jump up and say, “but…is it worth the price?  Sure would be nice but I’m on a strict budget!”  And this is where perception is NOT reality.  A professional designer’s fee usually only represents four percent of a project’s total budget.  Taking into account the time you will save, less stress, and a better final product- a kitchen designer can actually be quite the bargain.   Let’s switch gears momentarily and discuss sales professionals.  What benefits do they provide compared to big box retailers?  Sales professionals have years of experience while it is common for big bog retailers to have high turnover which leads to rotating staff.  For example, let’s take a look at the Monogram French-Door Oven.  Do you think a big box staff member would have the knowledge to explain a French door design, European convection with Direct Air, or ten-pass hidden bake element?  It sounds like Latin to us and it will to them too.   Screen Shot 2015-05-22 at 8.48.16 AMSimilarly, kitchen designers receive education training and professional development on a continuous basis to keep up to date with trends and future developments.  They invest in their knowledge and gain expertise by attending The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).  KBIS has showcased the latest in industry products, technologies, and trends for the past 50 years.  Kitchen designers take your vision and offer inspiration to help you create the perfect kitchen for your home.  Better yet, if you buy cabinets at K&N, there are no extra fees.   Kitchen designers are members of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).  The NKBA is the premier association for kitchen and bath professionals, offering guidelines that all members abide by.  See here for more on this subject.   Simply put, the benefits that sales professionals and kitchen designers can deliver you are enormous.  Whether it’s folks that are truly interested in you, who are not trying to meet a quota, or who offer a high level of overall service- they are here to help you. Your kitchen remodeling project takes time and you sure don’t want to rush things and get a final product that you are not completely satisfied with.  If you have any questions or are looking for a professional to collaborate with you, visit our showroom so we can discuss your goals and ideas.  And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Houzz for some more inspiration for your home!
